What is Airvolution?

Airvolution is a secure, centralised web-based platform that provides full visibility of RO’s throughout the repair loop whilst enabling quote review, evaluation and approval supported by dynamic communication tools.

Do I need to install Airvolution on my computer/tablet/phone to use it?

No, the user interface is completely web-based and is accessible through an internet browser of your choice.

How do I access Airvolution?

You will be given unique, secure login credentials tailored to your needs which provide a personalised user experience.

Is there a User Guide or other training material?

You will be fully supported throughout the onboarding process with live training sessions and a complete user guide. Your Airinmar representative will then be able to support you with any follow on questions.

How does Airvolution interact with our existing ERP?

Our onboarding team will be happy to discuss your tailored needs – we are able to integrate with your ERP in a number of ways.

Why can’t I simply use my existing ERP to manage the component repair process?

Whilst some basic capability exists in modern ERPs to manage component repairs, they can lack sophistication in allowing for efficient TAT management and parts tracking, whereas Airvolution was designed to do specifically that!

How does Airinmar charge for Airvolution?

Airinmar doesn’t charge for the system, only for the Repair Cycle Management Service – access to features of the Airvolution portal are part of the service.

Does the system help me reduce my repair TAT? Can it provide automated notifications on repair status and assist with managing AOGs?

Airvolution gives you the benefit of data collection, status updates and most importantly, the results of the proactive supplier management performed by Airinmar as part of the service, all in one centralised platform! Users have access to view operational milestones (on Repair Orders/Purchase Orders/Quotes) including TAT and Ageing Data. In addition, based on the User’s unique credentials, there is the ability to review, query and approve quotes on the Supplier. Users can also effectively perform priority management – by way of expediting parts due to nil stock, AOGs etc. with the Supplier.

How much detail can I see when looking up a component in repair?

Transparency of detail is paramount.

Airvolution allows the User to clearly assess the progress of the RO, including (but not limited to!) shipping information (if the unit has been delivered either to the Supplier or back to you), quote information (including multiple quote options, quote milestones and supporting documentation), status information (TAT, milestones including expected quote and shipment dates, comments) and communication information (queries).

All of this data adds immense value to material planning teams by enabling evidence-based decision making.

What inputs can/should I provide to Airinmar through the system?

Our onboarding team will discuss the bespoke options available to you, but in general, as long as priming data is made available to Airinmar (RO and shipping details), then we can handle the rest as part of the Repair Cycle Management service we provide! The User only needs to review, query (if necessary) and approve the quoted workscope once pre-validated by Airinmar and adjust the RO priority (expedite/AOG etc.) if required. With our “Fastrack” criteria, we can even minimise manual quote intervention for you!
