We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Manager based at our Finchampstead site. This is a Full Time Permanent Position.
The successful candidate will be working within the Value Engineering and Warranty disciplines. The role activities will include:
- To direct, lead and support the maximising of savings on customer accounts to provide a positive ROI through the application of Technical Services value streams.
- Designing solutions to meet the particular requirements of the account management staff responsible for the acquisition of new work and provision of the associated services.
- Development of spend diagnostics and sales support packages for presentations to customers for the acquisition of new business.
- The design and implementation of new value streams.
- Formulate the work programmes necessary to develop new services or to tailor existing services to meet the specific requirements of individual customers.
- Validate Strategic Sourcing benchmarks and supplier bids.
- Producing performance metrics & budgets, reporting results and deliver against targets.
- Proactively apply Continuous Improvement, including the Identification and implementation of initiatives/projects.
- Provide training to new and existing staff.
- Provide an experienced point of contact for problem resolution and advice.
Candidates should hold an HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering discipline or have equivalent experience. Have a minimum of 3 years aviation industry experience within a Technical Services discipline. Demonstrate sound interpersonal and leadership skills and have proven Project Management skills. Candidates are expected to have strong analytical, problem-solving skills together with the ability to build multi-level relationships both internally and externally.
