Dingley’s Promise, a local charity who deliver life changing support to children under 5 with additional needs & disabilities and their families, has benefited from £1,982 raised by the team in Finchampstead.
The costs involved with charities such as Dingley’s Promise can be quite high depending on the needs of the children and they rely heavily on grants and donations to be able to provide their top quality service. They were extremely grateful of our monetary donation to their charity of £1,982. We heard from them about the incredible dedication from the volunteers and care workers and about the amazing difference the centre can make in the life of the children and their families.
Every pound collected during our dress-down-Fridays, bake sales, BBQ’s and other events really does make a big difference, so a big thank you to all the employees who have contributed during 2019.
On Tuesday the 14th of January employees of our Goodwill Committee had the pleasure of visiting Dingley’s Promise in Wokingham to deliver possibly the coolest charitable donation we have ever seen. Thanks to our supplier Unique Corporate, the staff and children of the day care centre had the new addition of a Mini Tesla to their toy collection. Having had a cheeky drive of it ourselves we can tell you that the electric motors, lights, horn and ability to connect music will no doubt keep the children amused for a long time.
