Airinmar is recruiting a Warranty Engineer based onsite at our customer location in Philippines, where Airinmar provides the full range of warranty management services.
Airinmar specialises in the management of aircraft component repairs and aircraft warranty management for airlines, manufacturers and MROs throughout the world by using its industry experience, knowledge and expertise to provide engineering, supply chain and business solutions that reduce the operating costs of its customers.
As an Engineer within our Technical Services department, the successful candidates will be working as a Warranty Engineer and onsite coordinator. The role activities will include:
- Maximise Customer’s ROI and Airinmar’s revenues through delivering (or supporting the delivery of) the services outlined in customer statements of work.
- Perform account reporting to the allocated Program Manager.
- Carry out and manage projects, tasks and problem solve to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Be able to build multi-level relationships within Customer, both internally and externally.
- Support the implementation and management of the delivery of Warranty Management services (in coordination with Philippines/UK-based staff)
- Proactively apply Continuous Improvement, including the Identification and implementation of initiatives/projects ensuring things are clearly tracked and documented to keep us on schedule.
- Lead/Support periodic program reviews
- Identify, create, and manage warranty claims for component, line maintenance, heavy maintenance, service bulletins, reliability guarantees, engines, expendables and other eligible events
- Contact suppliers to gather the necessary information to justify a quoted repair/claim and contest where appropriate.
- Maintain data integrity
- Maintain regular verbal & written updates with the UK team
- Provide a point of contact for data retrieval, problem resolution, escalation and advice.
- Carry out business development and identify up-selling opportunities
- To travel where necessary for meetings, to support aircraft inputs (C Checks) and any other applicable projects.
Candidates should either hold a HNC/HND/Degree in a Business/Engineering discipline or have relevant work experience in an aircraft maintenance or warranty organisation.
Candidates are expected to have good analytical, communication and problem solving skills, as well as competency in using MS Excel. Prior experience with AMOS is advantageous. Bi-lingual in English & Filipino is highly desirable.
